Lol Coxhill, George Haslam, Paul Rutherford, Simon H. Fell, Paul Hession - Termite One
Originally released in 1990, this live recording marked the beginning of Simon Fell’s long association with the Termite Club of Leeds, during the process reforging some of the links he had made in his youth as a member of the Leeds Musicians’ Collective. This inventive and exciting recording teams Fell and Hession with legendary saxophonist Lol Coxhill, trombone revolutionary the late Paul Rutherford and Slam label boss George Haslam. Although the recording quality is inescapably of a certain documentary nature, the music is transcendent. This digitally remastered version was originally (re)issued on CD in 1999.
