Mokira - Sueismine
Mokira is the abstract music alter ego for Andreas Tilliander, a innovator and posterboy of electronic music in Europe. As Mokira, he has released critically acclaimed albums on Carsten Nicolais Raster Noton label and recently an amazing album on Type. The four tracks here are a great example of his standpoint of one-foot-in-the-grave-of dub music and the other with contemporary electronic music. Tilliander has a feeling for moody atmospheres and deep echoes, followed by a monotonous rhythm and hi-tech manipulations.
