Last years "Alluvial" (room40) introduced the world to M. Rösners subtle blend of acoustic sampling and sonic exploration. On his follow up "Morning Tones" the Australian sound artist utilizes acoustic guitar, recordings of his father playing violin, electronics, field recordings and computer to create quietly ferocious meditations in sound falling somewhere between texture and melody.
